Batsheva Nagel

Founder/Director

Batsheva Nagel has been an integral part of Vermont Pioneers Camp for over fifteen years. She is excited to bring the Jewish outdoor camping experience to young women. Batsheva is a graphic designer, artist, and mother of four. Batsheva is passionate about helping teenagers find a deeper sense of identity through the arts and the outdoors.

Hiking Guide

I’m Jessie and I live all over the US, traveling fulltime with my family in an RV. Together with My husband and 5 kids, we have hiked in 48 states, backpacked Texas’ longest trail (96 miles) and camped alone in the Arctic circle. I love trails with a view, cold mountain streams, taking pictures and reading books (preferably about the place I’m visiting).

Ariella is a teacher, speech pathologist, mother to five incredible children and spiritual guide!
She is the wife of Rabbi David Ruderman, a chaplain in the U.S army and has lived all over the world, adding to every community in a unique and inspiring way.

Hi, I’m Fraidy, originally from Michigan. I love being outdoors, coffee, spending time with friends, and catching sunrises and sunsets whenever I can. I’m so excited to meet everyone and have an amazing summer together.
